It’s all about the sport, the gigs, the family & friends, the beer, the food, the travel. Positive vibes only…🍺⚽️🎸🏏🏉🏈🎯🎤🍻
A very sad day for rugby league generally, but particularly bad for followers of the sport in Salford. There’s probably a fair number of people who are to blame for the demise of the club, but hopefully a fresh start can now be made 😢🤞🏻👺

First time visit to the legendary Golden Lion in Todmorden to watch the magnificent Young Knives. Great gig and well worth the trip. 🎸🍺🥶

The excellent Sports Team at Manchester Academy 2 last night on the first night of the tour. Go and see them if you can! 🍺🎸🎤

Another cancelled train…those Northern Rail/Fail blues never change! ☹️😡🤷🏼‍♂️

Finally finished this fine memoir. Pat Nevin is still one of my favourite footballers, despite never playing for Manchester United, not only for the way he played the game but also for his legendary great taste in music! ⚽️🎸

One of my current favourites at a fine Manchester venue - Chorley’s British Birds at Gullivers in the NQ. Great gig for a Thursday evening 🍺🎸

All the way from Canada, The Burning Hell were excellent last night at the always great Pink Room at Yes. Definitely recommend seeing them whilst they’re over here! 🇨🇦🍺🎸

Saturday night at the Bootleg Social in Blackpool. Great venue and the Bluetones were on excellent form. Top support from Balter who are definitely worth a listen. And the last train back to Manchester was actually running and on time - a fine evening at the seaside 🍺🎸👍

Gig number 6 of April and it was a great one - Dublin’s @themurdercapital.bsky.social at New Century. A fine old night 👍🎸🇮🇪🍺🥁

McTominay was excellent last night and it was a mistake for #mufc to sell him but definitely the right move for him - was under-appreciated at United & Conte has tweaked his usual system to get the best out of him.
Scott McTominay scored twice — with Romelu Lukaku also getting a goal — as Napoli beat Empoli to close the gap to Inter at the top of Serie A to three points...

Six games left — who will win the Scudetto this year?

Can’t beat a bit of 80’s Mancunian indie nostalgia on a Saturday night. The Man From Delmonte were in fine form 👍🎸🍺

The magnificent @pigsx7.bsky.social at new century. Not sure my ears will ever recover but a great dad n daughter gig night out 🎸🤘🍺

View from East Stand upper at the end of the Derby. Not a great game but United were the better team and deserved more. Last 2 games United have arguably been the better team yet only 1 point to show for it due to a lack of quality up front. But definite improvements so happy enough tonight 👺 #mufc

Geordie Greep at Komedia in Bath. Two hours and 4 minutes of excellence at a great venue - already looking forward to the Ritz in July 🎸🎷🥁

Last night’s gig - Deacon Blue at the Bristol Beacon. Enjoyable enough gig despite the talkers behind us 🙄. Really impressed by the Beacon - no heavy-handed security, great sound, decent view of the stage. The Beacon & Bristol generally get a big thumbs up from me 👍 #Bristol #Beacon

A big loss for GMFB - not popular with all NFL fans but don’t think the programme will be the same without him 🏈

Last night’s entertainment - and it was a bit of comedy for a change. An enjoyable couple of hours at the Lowry in Salford watching Milton Jones and warm-up act The Honourable Tom Houghton. Good stuff despite a slightly surreal crowd
