Christ, the sycophancy never even pauses to draw breath.

Pathetic, isn't it? Does he realise how pitifully weak he makes himself look?

Sky Australia is owned by the Murdochs, Sky UK is owned by Comcast. Is that too hard for you?
December 5, 2025 at 9:20 PM
To be clear, Sky Australia is owned by the Murdochs, Sky UK is owned by Comcast. Give your head a wobble, mate.

Don't be stupid.

The King exercises no powers other than those he is advised to exercise by the government on its behalf or which he is obliged to exercise in the manner laid out for him by convention. The Constitution renders him effectively powerless. Playing with words doesn't change that state of affairs.
December 5, 2025 at 9:03 PM
I agree. We shouldn't assume anything. We shouldn't assume it was an accident or that it was a deliberate attack. In the absence of verifiable evidence that would be stupid.
December 5, 2025 at 8:30 PM
That isn't any kind of claim. It's a warning to exercise caution before staking a claim.
December 5, 2025 at 8:22 PM
What claim?
December 5, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Pathetic. FIFA Peace Prize totally discredited from the off. Who the hell would want to get awarded that after this monstrous pig?
December 5, 2025 at 7:06 PM
Right. Clearly you feel much more comfortable with a speculative narrative than with certainty built on objectively verifiable facts. Your prerogative of course.
December 5, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Assuming it was an attempted strike. All too often these things turn out to be innocent mistakes, misreported stories or unfortunate coincidences so perhaps most people are waiting to hear what actually happened and why.
December 5, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Anyone would think he's making shit up.
December 5, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Highly unlikely I'd say. Netflix has always been seen as more of a TV interloper than a moviemaker. This makes Netflix a major movie player so it's a big step up for its brand perception. But it also gives it access to linear TV creating huge new revenue opportunities for its existing back catalogue
December 5, 2025 at 3:25 PM
I tend to agree. I heard earlier on TV that they'd watched these people struggling in the water for nearly an hour before striking the second time. If that's true it's a staggering condemnation of this decision.
December 5, 2025 at 3:09 PM
What's most bizarre is he'd pre-prepared this insane tirade. BBC was called first for questions, which it never normally is at Reform events.
December 5, 2025 at 3:05 PM
'Crap' and 'Shit' are excellent substitutes if we're talking about the overwhelming majority of AI on social media.
December 5, 2025 at 3:04 PM
Dunno whether that's true. Theatrical releases still generate significant revenues and are very powerful for building the necessary word-of-mouth that drives people to streaming services. I think this is more about Netflix becoming a major studio player than primarily boosting its streaming service.
December 5, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Can't disagree with that.
December 5, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Clearly Modi took as much notice of Trump as every other world leader.
December 5, 2025 at 2:49 PM
Exactly. Garnett was based on a commonplace working class character whom many of us occasionally encountered in local pubs or, even in our own families. He represented an intolerant tranche of society that vigorously resisted the move towards more enlightened thinking that was underway at the time.
December 5, 2025 at 2:41 PM
What the fuck?
December 5, 2025 at 2:32 PM
Yes, this is true. Alf Garnett was always intended as a character of ridicule, hence the reason his screen family were always aligned against his bigotry.
December 5, 2025 at 2:28 PM
That in no way suggests it was staged. It's actually highly unlikely it was staged given that someone in the crowd was hit by a bullet and died. Sadly, some people just have to create conspiracies out of everything. Such people should be pilloried given the huge damage they do to rational discourse.
