Data scientist with a PhD in kinesiology and biomechanics. I explore motor control, neuroscience, human movement, and more.

A growing advocate for open-source ideas, I’m here to connect, share, and spark meaningful conversations.
I want to be proficient with VIM. Does anyone have any tips or resources to recommend?

If you feel stuck or uninspired, let go of the pressure to “achieve.” Instead, ask:

- What genuinely interests me right now?
- What’s surprising or new in my field?
- What small thing can I explore today?

Create space for serendipity.

De Luca’s 1997 study cemented sEMG’s role in biomechanics:
1️⃣ When muscles fire (timing).
2️⃣ Effort estimation (force correlation).
3️⃣ Fatigue tracking (signal changes).
It’s powerful but limited to superficial muscles and sensitive to noise.
