As you can see (picture from English Heritage) the castle is much more complete than Tintagel. It's well worth a visit.

Have you tried setting the shutter speed to ‘B’ when not in use? According to the manual - When you use the 'B' setting the exposure meter is not activated and the Exposure Meter Needle does not register.

It uses 1 mercury battery HC, but I was sold it with LR44s. They seem to work fine.
