I could, mayyybe, see a high rev naturally aspirated engine paired with electrical regen/hybrid being cool for the noise and speed? IIRC some WEC powertrains do this.

Ann Leckie’s Ancillary series (your recommendation!) have me questioning why I default to he/him and not she/her when I’m not aware of gender. I can feel it literally getting easier to be more flexible every time I come across it in the books.

MSAL is awesome btw, I’ve used it in so many apps and services over the years.

We’re pretty well equipped to deal with heavy rain and floods tbh. Last major disaster was 2011 and there were tons do changes made after that.

The previous 2 big floods caused a bit of property damage but no deaths thankfully.

I’ll be closing my shutters if it gets properly windy, that’s all :)

The heavy rain isn’t due here till around 9pm this evening so enjoy while the going is good :)
