Archaeological and Quaternary Scienctist, fascinated by the amazing world we live in. All posts my own opinion.
Always love a fieldtrup with you and those were very memorable. I don't have a handy picture of a road cut, this is more of a flank collapse, but am sure you remember it.

Great day looking at some Roman figurines behind the scenes at a museum. Some cool research posts to follow in the new year...

Hello BSky. Am fairly new here. Things I am likely to post on are science, fieldwork & horses. Some images to get going; 1st is fieldwork on Etna, the 2nd is the Geological Golden Spike for the start of the Quaternary & 3rd and most important is @palaeopoppy.bsky.social & our lovely boy Ricky!

Had a brilliant week of fieldwork with out MSc past climate & environments students. Last day of the trip was at the 650,000 year old West Runton forest beds where the West Rinton mammoth was found.

Loving the move over to BSky. Have just had a few brilliant fieldwork days with our MSc students coring late glacial and Holocene lake sites in the East of England. Our students were brilliant and the site records were epic.
