I listened to him on Radio Aire in the early 80s - was quite radical compared to the normal ILR stations (though my local, Pennine were great in other ways - their computer show broadcast software on-air for you to tape!).

Unlikely as it’s not a stage covered normally unless there’s something really of note, then it’s often only shot with one camera for a feature.

Missed that (I was on a train to Wood Norton, then watching in a pub). Think it was probably the only useful thing from what I saw.. I was with a vendor earlier in the day and was kind of praying for a beefed up Apple TV which could make their tools even better, but never mind..

A few years ago it was £300,000 a year which for 3x 2-3 hour prime time slots - far cheaper than drama and most other shows.. But they’ve also got radio coverage and a fair bit of online / social too… No doubt a huge amount cheaper than sports rights..
