i was having a hard time trying to understand his role in midfield as he kept running towards the ballcarrier while building from the back. but nit in the “make himself available” way but more in a crowd/overload the area kind of way. not sure if its learning or if that was intentional

He doesn’t score goals but he takes good shots. Actually, he was a goal scorer until a couple seasons ago so he knows how to take shots. Not sure what happened to that part of his form.

You made a comment about Gray not being at fault for the first pass. The pass wasn't the issue, it was the telegraph of the pass that invited the press once they were already on the back line. That said, Gray has been phenomenal this season.
