My kitchen sink has become the emergency doll hair clinic.
I got a Rochelle Goyle with severe glue seepage and a godawful frizzy Sweet Scary Birthday Draculaura I'm trying to fix up for my own birthday. They make for cute decor.
Anyway, conditioner is now forever next to the dish soap.

I got a Rochelle Goyle with severe glue seepage and a godawful frizzy Sweet Scary Birthday Draculaura I'm trying to fix up for my own birthday. They make for cute decor.

My biggest pet peeve with the spooky season is the total erasure and commodifiction of very real religious abuse, sexism, and trauma.
They'll talk about stupid cartoon witch stuff while leaving out how men with Bibles tortured and murdered predominantly women over literally nothing.

I'm putting out a call for handy people: Is there anyone who can create clear pegs for this doll's hands? Spectra is a ghost character with a beautiful white-to-clear fade that Mattel ruined by using white on the wrist pegs. I will pay for translucent pegs if you can make them.

Progress shots. This will be my first FULL reroot. I started a junk one when my needles broke and I needed to just replace the tool entirely.

I'm a few hours into rerooting the Netflix She-Ra doll with longer saran hair. My goal is to turn her into her season 5 appearance. The delay has been me waiting for the money to buy better supplies.
I will also be changing her face to be more show-accurate.

I've never done doll hair before but Reel Drama Clawdeen's hair is fucking atrocious. There is literally nothing I could do that would make this worse so wish me luck as I attempt to defrizz, then eventually give her wavy hair because I don't like idea of straightening her hair.

The new Monster High Oasis dolls look SO cute displayed in their cases if you remove one of the cardboard pieces. Well, at least Draculaura does. I won't know until Saturday if Lagoona is too tall to pull it off.
