Small internet nervousness-inducer is commissioning art from a new artist, only because it's difficult to gauge how fast they work, what they need from you as the commissioner, and excitement to see what they end up making.

Something was just Wrong(TM) with the Alienware system when I got my new computer back in 2020. Had to reinstall Windows twice since my last post, bringing total reinstalls on this machine to 9. Thankfully all my files are saved on a back-up drive for this exact reason.

Been a minute - got through first 10 chapters of the re-write okay, but now I'm getting to the chewy bits of the plot and all the little threads need to start a-weaving...someone tell me to put BG3 down now that I've finished Act II and had my recharge with my sad wizard ;p

first draft re-writes are hell. I still love the story and want to chew on it still, but dang I wish I was done.

Okay nothing is worse than your printer running out of ink midway through a print job.

During my re-read of my 10 year old manuscript it was SO obvious that it was written by someone who was VERY 22. It was good for 22, I think, but my god. As I'm doing a full overhaul on it, what a difference those years make!
