This tendency contributes to the reinforcement of a neoliberal imaginary that neglects to address structural inequalities as relevant issues while envisioning social justice as an avenue for value, meritocracy, and technical accountability, echoing Silicon Valley's narratives.

In the article, I argue that the narratives surrounding blockchain tend to frame social good in rational, mathematical, and often competitive terms, instead of using concepts like distribution and recognition.
