Just had the sweetest experience with a man's golden retriever. I was in home hardware and the dog saw me and started wagging its tail and wiggling over. The owner gave the Ok they were friendly so I went for a few pets. This golden was LOVING IT. The owner tells me the dog love home hardware bc 1/4

I feel so sad every time I remember someone who I thought was my friend didn't see me as theirs at some point and started using me for their own financial gain instead of talking to me in any way and called me "the most toxic person ever" when I left

In February I made 24 granny squares and a few coasters. I also started a larger project for a gift, but I will post that when it's done (first I need a hook for it that won't kill my wrist) total granny squares this year: 124

People keep asking to see the stuff I make but I'm so terrible at taking photos of it. So I'm going to try this year to take a photo every month of all the stuff I've made that month. I'm also trying to make at least a granny square a day this year, it's been very nice so far

The energy I have put into my job has changed since the summer and I figured I'd try to push my way into a teaching role in the department. Well today my higher up emailed me asking if I'd be interested in training our new hires in the new year, so my plan worked 🤯
