6” sock, 8” standard (for sleeves?). I didn’t know there were different sizes until I accidentally ordered 8” dpns, US 1. I’d poke my eye out if I tried to knit socks on those!

No. I suppose the “horseshoe” shaped needles would be similar in that they don’t take up much space or get in the way.

Spirals. You can’t knit directly off them, but they’re easier to manipulate.

All of ours are going to disappear. Luckily there is a LYS nearby that also stocks fabric, but it’s quilting stuff. I will miss Joann’s when I’m in need of something more specialized.
