After having beaten it, I don’t want to ever hear another apologist tell me how Xenoblade Chronicles X was some underrated gem.
It earned every mid-review and dismissal for its quantity-over-quality design. Their glazing on this empty, esoteric mess cost me 60 hours of meandering frustration.

Over an hour and couldn’t get beyond the main menu in Nightreign. Got little faith that it’ll be better in the US when we enter normal waking hours for the next time-slots.

Awful single player campaign. Just an empty, frustrating chore all the way through.
Terrible multiplayer matchmaking too. Just trampled by players with way more unlocked than me.
Had to use my online voucher on this game before it expired. Still feel cheated.
