the reason i'm watching it all of a sudden is just that youtube randomly recommended it and it was free. would recommend, it's been a joy so far

i haven't watched this movie since it came out. i remembered nothing about the plot with the dream world and characters given life by the main character's dreams. now it makes me think of deltarune lol

doesn't help that there's a character named tobor that i keep mishearing as something else

no luck, they're only willing to replace it at a discounted price which is still over $500 🫠 the hiatus continues

got this phone like 13 years ago and it still worked until now. it served me well back in the day. i hate microsoft like any other giant tech corporation but i will always stick up for the windows phone, i will die on this hill

guh wow!!! this is a take on rixia that i didn't know i wanted to see

my only big issue really was the controls. it feels pretty janky to play. sometimes you'll be spamming the attack button to do the combo and he'll just stop partway through for no reason, or he'll just do the first combo step over and over again. made things difficult!

finished the game (and postgame)! it was good, mostly. amazing music, all the boss fights were really cool and well designed, and the story was fun. wouldn't recommend it over an ys game, but if you're out of ys games and want more then it might be up your alley

that is, it's demotivating when i'm working on that project, but in my off time? working on my own stuff? i *thrive* on spite and this is providing plenty of it

someday i should post about something positive

for the project we're working on at my job, we're planning to use ai voices instead of real actors. i'm gonna yell about it when i get the chance because i know no one else will, but i doubt it will change anyone's minds. it's really demotivating

my actual thoughts: definitely worth playing at least once for the updated visuals and gameplay and stuff, which is all fantastic, but to me dialogue is the heart of trails. if i want my ideal experience i'm going to play the version where the dialogue sounds natural to me

no seriously why did they go with that pronunciation, i'm not gonna be able to take any dialogue seriously in the second game

honestly the thing i'm most upset about losing is all my pictures of my cats. i'm not sure if they were on internal storage or the SD card. the microSD flew off into the aether when i pulled out the tray and i have not been able to find it, and the internal storage is currently underwater on purpose

this post was in reference to my phone, which earlier started trying to repeatedly call the cops by itself and refused to power off so i unfortunately had to blow it up
