Flat colors are finally down for each variant of Sharon's "Mercenary" design! Might still tweak some things when I eventually start shading, but for now the next step will be to add some notes and turn these into temporary ref sheets.
I'll see about starting that tomorrow.

Flat colors are finally down for each variant of Sharon's "Mercenary" design! Might still tweak some things when I eventually start shading, but for now the next step will be to add some notes and turn these into temporary ref sheets.

Won it when I decided to check out a new arcade that recently opened up at my local mall and tested my mettle at one of the machines. Wonder where I could put it...?

Salad is an underrated meal. Been eating these homemade ones for lunch every day for the past week and I've been feeling pretty good!

Salad is an underrated meal. Been eating these homemade ones for lunch every day for the past week and I've been feeling pretty good!

Had no end of trouble with this one, as the sketch had A LOT of issues in need of correcting, but that makes completing it all the more satisfying!

I also made cupcakes today!
Mainly followed the recipe on the box, but got creative and browned the butter first before adding it to the cake mixture.
And since I had both chocolate and vanilla frosting on hand, I opted to use both here!

The man whose Twitter posts inspired this particular rant, Shad M. Brooks, is a particularly tragic case because the dude actually CAN draw... but he now instead opts for shortcuts that do most of the real work for him, while still claiming to be an artist.
It's downright infuriating, tbh.
