Wrote a Daggerheart campaign based on a dream I had early in the year. I had parts of it ready for session zero and continued to develop it with what the players contributed. Now that the campaign has unfortunately become stagnant, I have a thousand ideas. I need to get this story out of my system.

Sent Christmas gifts to friends in California and it's a relief to know they arrived and it feels great to know they like them. Now I'm waiting for all the gifts for my family to be delivered.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 won so much at the VGAs and deserved all the wins and more! I stopped playing after Act 1 for reasons.... It hurt me lol but I need to start a new playthrough and finish the game.

The new episode of the Mighty Nein is awesome! Nathan Fillion is perfect for that role and Lou Wilson voicing his Calamity character is a nice surprise!

If it hadn't snowed last week and prevented me from working all week, I'd be home right now sleeping and waking up hours later to watch the Mighty Nein in comfort. Instead I'm working in the cold all day and impatiently waiting for work to end so I can watch it.

Incredibly excited for Wednesday. The Mighty Nein was my introduction to Critical Role and to see my favorite characters animated and their stories explored differently is exciting. Also it's my Birthday. I'm not super excited about that but maybe it will be better than previous years.

I started writing a book recently. The goal was to write this novel and get it published. That turned into a series. I'm still working on the first one while also mapping out the second book. Thinking this will be 5 books. Nothing massive but not a small thing either.

Woke up early today to go to a laundromat. Heard rain and got excited for an excuse to wear my Vault of Glass raid jacket. As soon as I dug it up, the rain stopped. Clear skies for a few hours. Damn it lol

I just got my first paycheck at the new company. It's more than I ever made at the last company. Significantly more. I gotta save as much as I can since I'll be getting laid off during the winter. 4 months of unemployment sounds terrifying.

I was expecting to wake up today and be in a lot of pain and unable to walk, but instead I feel fine. My leg hurts a bit but that's about it. I count this as a win.

Went on a jog for the first time idk when. My legs are so done with today. Now I sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee and wonder if I'll ever stand up lol how the hell did I do 2 miles?!

I started a project today. Turning parts of my last D&D campaign, elements of fiction I enjoy, and aspects of my own bullshit into more than just a short story, but maybe, hopefully, an actual novel. Or novella. Depends.

Moving this weekend. Headed back up to Illinois. Still have a lot to pack and alot of cleaning to do. Should be focusing on that but my mind keeps going back to the idea of writing an actual novel. I started something a few years back but this would be different. It just won't leave my head.
