If you can, you should just do it.
If they can´t figure out how to play, release a patch to add a tutorial.
If it has a hundred bugs, you can fix / integrate them.

If you don´t trust your language to allow for safe prototyping, don´t use it.
Try going through the program and finding OOM / overflow / precision issues yourself, fix, repeat, test.
