I tried going back a while ago and just couldn't really maintain the motivation. Having an entire social media app that I have just for RP, along with the fact that my schedule is no longer well synced with the majority of the existing playerbase, kind of killed the drive

I do miss it sometimes, writing for Cloud Skimmer was such a blast

Fair enough, I'm not generally trying to make my BT minis the same sort of quality that I'm striving for on Space Marines or somesuch, so long as they look nice and neat on the table, I'm happy

It helps that I learned how to do easy jeweling for cockpit canopies many years ago

I find it's a nice palette cleanser, since the level of detail is so much lower on BT it means I can spend a couple hours on a model and have it finished instead of spending three times the amount of time on a warhammer model

Stormbird BA suits are pretty funny. Ultimately not as well-rounded as Elementals, but that's one hell of a high bar to clear

They are the angriest of birds

There's a couple of printed models in there to supplement the CGL plastics - that's a Flamberge in the back as the Star Captain's ride, and some Stormbird battle armour in the front
