I'm still eating my way through Christmas candy but I got a very funny dumdum.
A blueberry dum dum sucker, the candy part is a misformed rectangle half folded over the paper stick.

Decided to try poetry and sonnets looked fun.
Sunrise The sun rises bright on a summer's day Casting away deep shadows from the land Although quite strong it is not here to stay as others wish for shadows near at hand Animals of the night have gone to rest Tucked safely into burrows deep beneath For shadows guard them, guide them best To find sweat prey to bite between their teeth With suns light, day creatures begin to rise Coming to explore the new light of dawn There is work to be done under lit skies For shadows will bring forth a tired yawn Sun rises to bring forth glorious change Transition as light and dark rearrange

Now loaded with 10lbs line a bobber and hook! Plus a bit of twine wrapped on to tuck the hook into!
The same handline rod as described in above pictures. Now it has green 10lbs fishing line, a small foam bobber and a size 8 fishing hook.

Now with stain and a wrist strap!
A handline fishing rod carved from a piece of 1in by 8in oak dowel stained a red brown color. The handle has grip grooves and the top has a section cut to hold the spooled line. Both ends of the rod have been cut to be rounded There is a black wrist strap tied around the but end.

I spent a few hours whittling a piece of oak dowel into a handline.
I was inspired by a Nancy comic.
I do not fish, I am not sure I will ever use it, but I certainly have it and it kept my hands busy for a few hours.
I will refine the shape with some files but this is all with a utility knife.

I made a self knife! I made it a little too thick but I am happy with the results over all.
A self knife, the handle is made from an extended tang that is bent back towards the single edged blade to form the handle.

Made a little J hook
A right hand laid flat holding 1/2 inch round stock shaped into a J shape. The top and tip are flattened with the tip folded into a curve.

Just got a forge, been playing around with tapers and swirls
A piece of 3/16 round steel curled into a tapered hook 2 small pieces of steel shaped into s shapes. Each piece is sitting on a brick.

Now playing as a kobold on the same DnD modded server. Every block I mine that I am not going to craft with goes into the mound, deepslate, cobblestone, copper, redstone, iron, everything that I am not using goes on the pile. Once it is big enough I am going to dig out a warren but for now it grows.
