Maybe I’m extending too much grace here, I just think it would be worth a shot to educate everyone as early as possible about the *extremely* unsexy maintenance of the equipment & worst case scenario info re: what can go wrong if you don’t do it.

Yeah I get that, but THAT’S INSANE, is my point, and nobody who has even a basic understanding of what a pelvic exam consists of can possibly think it’s in ANY way sexy or fun for either party.
