As a kid watching it during the original airing, I was disappointed that it wasn't the comic, but I remember it was entertaining for what it was. Honestly, they could have used the late 1960s/early 1970s martial arts version of her, not the pseudo Amazon version here.

I have good memories of my dad and me watching these movies together. Dr. Strange, Spidey, Captain America (with the big motorcycle helmet), Hulk, etc. They weren't terrible, although Spider-Man was noticeably low-budget.

Keith Giffen was severely underrated as an artist. The art he created for Super Villain Team-Up and The Defenders, particularly Defenders #50, was outstanding. This volume collects some of this work.

They knew not to mess with Marie! (R.I.P.) I had the pleasure of meeting her at my LCS years ago, and she was wearing a '70s Marvel Medallion featuring the Hulk.😍😄 Wonderful woman.

I prefer the original. The colors have a warmer touch. Also, some digital colorists can't resist the call of the BLING! BLING-BLING-BLING! effects in Photoshop.
