I feel like Dems have ultimately failed Black people like me for the past four years, and this proves it. I'm a Democrat -- always have been, always will be -- but it's hard not to notice how little we mean to the party. Obama's election in 2008 pissed off the White hierarchy...

So am I. You'd think after the traumatic election loss last November and the hollow calls to "keep fighting the good fight", Dems would've understood our exhaustion right now. What happened to fighting "the existential threat to democracy"? We're talking bipartisan instead? Seriously?

If you're talking about Trump, don't feel bad -- honestly, it is DAMN difficult NOT to hate the jerk. Guy thinks his reality is the ONLY reality, that the universe revolves around him. He places no value on any human life; when even his loyalists become useless, he'll give them the axe.

I just heard. And as a victim of racism and ableism (I'm Black and have struggled with anxiety and depression since age 15), it hurts. Being Black is a curse in America. No right to protest, no right to call out corruption, no right to LIVE... a GUN has more rights than a Black person in America.
