34-yr old writer; pet parent; still following DLDR, YKINMK, and YMMV. Have been writing long enough my first lemons are fruiting trees now. Weirdly good at comic paneling/storyboarding for someone who doesn't animate.

Follow and unfollow without fear.
Omg you KNOW this man?? I saw him, ONCE, when HBO had an animal section and I have never found the series again!! *Who is he, please*

Been gouging the corner of that toe for over 24hrs but until it got sharp ENOUGH I literally. Just. Kept forgetting I had pain in an unusual location. When I examined it today it yeeted the sharp fragment, blood, and some actual DEBRIS. That I just. Y'know. Didn't feel at all.

Chronic pain, man.

As long as the death isn't the MAIN character. I often don't like the romance options in the first book of a series, but let the MC's feelings be "true" about whomever it is.

Also if there's no mourning followup, that throws me right outta the series.

Scheduling rests in a neurotypical fashion just makes me ADHD RAGE either by interrupting my flow or being way too short of a break and interrupting rest. Just not applicable for me, though thank you for the reccomendation.

Having looked up this Remmy Henninger fella, his book and methods are NOT for me. He's talking to neurotypicals, I am not one. I already get more done in 4 hrs than most people do in a week, I hand-hemmed AND embroidered 2 handkerchiefs in *2 days each*. Only took THAT long because I had dinner!

I'm not actually following the Frog system at all- but the name is yanked to be part of this cobbled together, shambling golem of A System of Organization and Tasks because it provides that critically necessary giggle factor. I have ADHD: no serotonin = no work. This is working.
May 12, 2025 at 8:47 PM
So directly due to my inherent inflexibility with established systems, I'm working SOLEY off gut feeling and chasing that serotonin. Rigid systems don't work, loose systems I accidentally MAKE rigid; so I'm giving off-the-cuff whatever a fair try.

Thus far, I've had consistent results. Finally.

I get too exhausted to keep "correcting" the methods, and then it's just so much more detritus.

Frog system, on the other hand, gives IMMEDIATE SEROTININ, which is the #1 factor in how long I can keep working at a system. If I label a task that has been haunting me for weeks a fatass frog, I laugh.

Polite rebuttal:
No single system I have EVER tried has helped with organization or task management because I can't adapt existing systems to my real life. So everything as written that doesn't apply just sits around, cluttering my mind and space, and makes a worse mess.
