My projects for Concept Art class this semester

Magnus, Plazmid, Art, Wyre
Midterm project 1: character. Make 3 designs of a character and a background to match. Character: Magnus, a hero in the Ions who has the power of magnetism. He controls the exact magnitude and shape of his magnetic field, and has been provided equipment and armor to allow him to do hero work at any time. Midterm project 2: Environmental: make a landscape Environment: Plazmid’s cityscape. Character: Plazmid. A 14-year old child whose body turned into plasma because of the alien machine he wears around himself now. Finals project 1: Character concept: make a character and create several different versions, with a background to match. Character: Art. A nonbinary 15-year old Spanish kid who loves art. Their power lets them use their imagination and color to create anything they imagine in reality. (Not a finalized idea yet, this character is too magical for my standards, needs to be more grounded and science based) Finals project 2: Environmental Environment: Wyre’s cityscape. Character: Wyre. A fox who wears a protegen mask to conceal his identity. His power lets him shoot out threads of wyre, a special type of wire that is made of energy. He uses 3 types of wyre: winch, grapple, and pulley. Winch is a strong, threaded wyre that can be used to pull or push. He can speed up the wyre as well, now called Rocket winch. Grapple wyre is thin but strong, typically used to swing from, but also can be used to grab objects and bring them closer. Can also be used as a whip. Pulley wyre also shoots pulley joints, which allow the pulley wyre to be stuck to things while still letting the wyre be pulled from either end. (The pulley system is the idea that started Wyre) pulley joints can be shot and attached however many times are needed, and will return when the wyre has been pulled past them.
