continued... I can't imagine what his medical bill would have been without Medicaid. I can't imagine how our 95 year old Mom on Medicare, or his siblings and I could have afforded to pay it. He was a hard working man from a "good family". If you think Medicaid cuts won't affect you, think again.

A personal Medicaid story - My brother passed away last year after a stroke with numerous complications, and laying in a Neuro ICU for 10+ days. A previously self-employed carpenter, disabled from a car accident that was not his fault, with no health insurance other than Medicaid. (see part 2)
