As an observer from Europe, I fear that the USA has passed the point of no return and that the authoritarian system of government is becoming established. Only a massive protest by the population could counteract this, but either the fear or the indifference is too great.

I I just spit out my coffee laughing. And the best thing about it: the scenario isn't even unrealistic.

As a European, it is shocking to see how quickly the USA is slipping into authoritarianism and the checks and balances are eroding. I fear that in four years the USA will no longer exist and will be more like the dystopian state of Gilesd.
