Louder than Life fest these past four days was an absolute fucking blast. Nothing like a dose of metal and being crushed by hundreds of thousands sweaty, screaming bodies to make you forget the world’s troubles.

Laid down half the flooring in the basement today and plan to finish up tomorrow! Last of the major steps to go and just gotta add fun flourishes to over the next few months.

Not me getting emotional watching the Diama finale on the anniversary of Toriyama’s passing… it was SO good and the perfect marriage of Dragonball humor with DBZ hype transformations and battles. He really went out with a bang for his final work. Thank you Toriyama for everything!

Finally wrapped up Dawntrail MSQ after picking it up on sale over the holidays. Thought it was fine and Wuk Lamat not nearly as bad as people made her seem. I would’ve cut the entire Wild West area and story section though and maybe streamlined the overall story a bit. Definite pacing issues.

Finally wrapped up Dawntrail MSQ after picking it up on sale over the holidays. Thought it was fine and Wuk Lamat not nearly as bad as people made her seem. I would’ve cut the entire Wild West area and story section though and maybe streamlined the overall story a bit. Definite pacing issues.
Projection screen and mounted fireplace wall framed out along with short divider wall done! Just two more walls to go!

After fighting the flu last weekend, was excited to get back to basement work and make more progress! Old house with lots of piping meant using an alternative framing method for this stretch of wall. Way more difficult but luckily the only area that required it.

I started in order so VM will always be the OGs but the Mighty Nein were just so much fun and vibrant by comparison (even against the darker themes). Excited to start Bells Hells next and maybe I’ll actually be caught up for C4!
