When someone says "Shit AI tools are abundant" it's clear to me what they mean. When someone says "can't we just use AI to fix this?" it's definitely not.

I'd agree that using AI in this manner is essentially giving conceeeding language to the corps touting the "AI" as the future (which already makes no sense) - but it's mostly a symptom of that way of talking about AI.

AI in games, as in scripts used to automate NPCs/generate rng? Because that's not what AI "means". When people say "AI bad" today it's because we apparently must use the word in order to be understood by proponents of a "genAI" and LLM powered future. But it's like comparing apples to cybertrucks.
