I grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco in the 70s. I remember walking picket lines with my dad. I remember my orchestra teacher who drove a purple Porsche. I wish the world was as kind as I was taught it should be.

I am dreading the moment ICE shows up at my work. I work with many people who may or may not be legal. I don't ask. I don't care. They are nice. They do their job. They pay taxes.They support the local economy. I know I will get in trouble. I have a bad habit of sticking up for people being bullied

Ummm subsidizing what? With what? He contributes nothing to society. He may "own" businesses (his shareholders and finances may disagree) that society uses, but he makes money off them. And pays no taxes. Makes no humanitarian donations. He is a wart on our world that needs to get burned off.

To be honest, as horrible as it sounds, that would be a relief. Out of the 5 years we have been married he had spent the last three in a hole of despair. Beginning to think he only married me for my real estate. Which I have lost because of moving to Kenfucky for his mom.
