Then he really wanted to be the alpha and tried to prove it to Thomas but after many different tries and moments Gerbo realises that Thomas is "the true alpha" and starts to call him like that since Gerbo is looking up to him and overall thinks that Thomas is really cool.

As you may have noticed (in image 1) Gerbo wrote "Alfa" it's a misspelled "Alpha" which is there because my gf and I made a little story in the au where Gerbo have read about wolves and/or watched some kid movies and thought that alpha and omega wolves exist

So Thomas starts to slowly feel sorry for Gerbo and soon he realises that he wants to be a better friend than Bugbo and Joe could ever be (Thomas doesn't really know about Hoppo), also he decides to try and help turn Gerbo back into a normal spider.

And it made Thomas think and realise that Bugbo and Joe (Except for Hoppo) weren't the best company for Gerbo, sure they are considered his friends but sometimes they can be really mean.

Later it reveals that surprisingly Joe doesn't seem to care too much, maybe he was too carried away by his power over Bugbo and other bugs, but anyways no one came to save Gerbo.

Suddenly Thomas appeared, took Gerbo and decided to adopt him (as a pet), and all because Thomas knew that Bugbo and Joe will be really upset, especially that they can't do anything about it, because now Gerbo is officially Thomas' "pet".

After some time Joe realised that he is still a mayor and can do almost anything so he decided to take revenge on Bugbo for throwing him under the oak tree. So he makes a law that turns all bugs+spiders into pets for humans etc, so Joe can have at least some power over Bugbo

Bugbo and Joe were able to find needed ingredients to stop the process, but unfortunately Gerbo didn't fully turn back into a spider. This incident left Gerbo with ears, tail, fur, wolf nose, paws and sometimes some wolf-like urges and habits.

Thomas bugnapped Gerbo and by using some liquid started a process of turning Gerbo into a wolf/werewolf type of creature.
