Ah okay! For some reason TikTok was giving me the impression most of the Vtuber scene was queer folks as all of my Live recommendations are, but that may just be my algorithm and how hyper specific it is, giving me the sense it was a predominantly queer scene. Like furries 😅

That's really fair actually. There's a lot of details I was missing and that helps provide a clearer picture. I'm sorry for the insensitivity of my initial comment.

I wouldn't be able to name one Vtuber who isn't Ana, which is why it sounds like they were punished just for doing a collab with someone who just happened to be Russian and as someone not in that scene I was explaining how it sounds. Ana added more context for me

I could totally understand if they were posting pro Russian propaganda or endorsing they're governments actions though. It just seems harsh without more context added to their explanation

That's dumb. Many people in Russia don't agree with or support it's government. I bought a handmade gift from a queer artist there. That's not an endorsement of the Russian government. That's me supporting a small business by another marginalized person.
