I had the privilege of visiting Blind Creek Beach this morning. I had been in the area for work and had some time before my flight home. The air temp was *quite chilly* but the sun and water felt amazing. ☀️🌊
For this visit, I was able to connect with a BlueSky friend, which made it even better.

I forgot to follow-up on this thread. I ended up having my clothes-minded friend help with the deck, and it is mostly finished. I wore shorts for the first day of his help, and the second day was rather cold, so I wore a shirt AND shorts that day.

Close friends took us on a super short adventure over the weekend to peep some fall colors in northern Georgia.

I finished our cat condo for the new barn cats over the weekend, and the cats came home today.
Not 15 minutes of holding the baby boy, and Hubby was already asking if they can move into the house tonight.

I’m still making a little time to tinker in my little home photo studio. This week was just playing with lighting and mood. (Hubby doesn’t like these because I’m not smiling… and that’s the point! There are more emotions to capture beyond “smile for the camera!”)

My heart is bursting with joy!
I have always (since I was a little kid) loved butterflies, and I have wanted to create a garden that attracted them. Especially the monarch butterfly.
This video is from today, and I’m beyond thrilled! (Hubby says he saw 100x more a few weeks ago!)

We had a bit of an adventure today. We tried to go to a regional Lego enthusiast convention, but we learned that it had been cancelled upon arriving at the venue. So we did some antique shopping and had a wonderful lunch.

A few photos from tonight’s photo session. I’m working towards some images with this type of directional lighting but also with some blurry foreground obstructions. I didn’t get there tonight, but I have more ideas for next time.

Here’s the catio, which is roughly 8 x 3 x 3 feet. I need to add the doors and the end panels, and then I’d like to add some different levels (shelves?) inside to give them places to climb and be.

Here’s another, though it’s much more recent. I submitted this to an art project, and it’s featured on a limited-edition deck of cards that were intended to be a modern/contemporary take on tarot.

Many moons ago, I put much more emphasis on making creative photos, not just taking selfies. Here’s one, where I used a fisheye lens attachment on my phone to get this funky, surreal effect. It didn’t hurt that I’m typically NOT a morning person.

I tried that thing that people like to do where they just lay out in the sunshine and relax for a bit.

I set up some of my photography equipment in the basement and had to take some test photos to make sure I had things functioning properly. My face is saying “are we done yet?”

I got to spend the afternoon at Valley View Recreation Club (VVRC) near Madison, WI, today. I was joined by my husband and close friends that are visiting from Tennessee.

I typically prefer the label of naturist, as my lack of clothing isn’t limited to just “not wanting to wear clothes”. But regardless, it’s a day to celebrate!
(Nudists and naturists exist, whether practicing at home or at a club/resort/beach.)

It always feels amazing to be freshly shorn.
But the haze from the wildfires that is moving through is not nearly as amazing. I hope the wildfires are contained and controlled soon, for ALL of our sake.
