Parents are legally and officially prohibiting books with the enforcement of the government.
I fear this is a definition book ban, even if private vendors are not involved.

It’s okay for them to be involved in what THEIR kids are reading at school. Why do they get to decide what every other child has access to? It’s extremely nefarious, I would never be okay with the government telling anyone what is and isn’t okay to read and it boggles my mind that you do.

Would you say the parents are prohibiting books? With the enforcement of the government?

So because one parent has a problem with a book, that means all the children of that school can’t have access? Don’t let your child read if you don’t want them to, but to prohibit every child from reading a book is not very small government of them.

My neighbor has a giant oak tree that gives me enough leaf mulch for every single garden bed, plus enough to mulch finer for my vegetable beds. I only use freshly fallen leaves for the finer mulch to avoid shredding any overwintering buggies

For now you can, but Texas is definitely taking steps in that direction.
I believe we’ve all been talking about school book bans, I don’t know why we’re moving the goalposts to include private vendors opposed to public schools.
Booksellers sue over Texas law requiring them to rate books for appropriateness

Officially and legally prohibited. Just like Florida and Texas are officially and legally banning books.
Just because it’s not federally banned doesn’t mean they aren’t banned.

Be careful when using the block lists, a tactic the other side uses is seeding these block lists with prominent activists and positive voices in an effort to silence them. It’s just something to be aware of! ❤️

You can also google the list of almost 400 books Florida schools have pulled this week.
Texas enacted the nation's third-highest number of book bans last academic year
The number of bans nearly tripled nationwide as conservative politicians and state legislatures got more involved.

The compliments I get on my eyes really stick with me, and usually make me blush because the eye contact of someone admiring your eyes is next level 🥹
