I hesitate to call this a #ShitpostTTRPG because it's more of a weird, mindfulness exercise - but I'm going to put it here anyway.

Are you prone to self deprecation? The Thief of Joy loves that, that means they're winning.
Don't let them win.

The thief loves when you compare yourself to others and feel inadequate. The thief lies in wait for these moments to strike. Your goal while playing is to not allow the thief to win. The thief wins when their satchel is full and they make their way back to their hideout to plan for their next heist. After the thief arrives, place this card in front of you, with the thief’s satchel face up. Each time you have a negative thought about yourself, place a token (anything can be a token - coins, dice, paper clips - whatever is handy) in one of the empty spaces in the thief’s satchel. The thief has room for five pieces of stolen joy before their satchel is full, and when the satchel is full, the thief has won. If the thief has stolen joy in their satchel, and the satchel is not full, joy can be reclaimed with positive thoughts and statements about yourself. For each genuine compliment you pay yourself, you can remove one token from the thief’s satchel as you reclaim your joy from them. Ending Play Games can last as long as they need to, and when you are done playing if the thief has not won, you have won. Congratulations! If the game ends with the thief winning, that’s okay too. Somedays the thief is too devious to outsmart and they get the best of you. If you have lost this time, you gain an advantage for the next time they arrive - the first time they steal joy from you, you can immediately reclaim that joy by declaring to the thief that their victory before didn’t defeat you and that you are better prepared for them this time. The thief hates self confidence."

i am just a Quaker and have only been transitioned socially for about half a year - but of course grew up so jealous of Bryn Mawr 😭 particularly as a non-PA Quaker
