Her work as a set and costume designer has seen main stages, studios and unconventional spaces across the country. Recent collaborations include National Theatre Public Acts, Hull Truck Theatre, Leeds Playhouse, Soho Theatre, Arcola Theatre, Northern Opera, Southbank Centre alongside many others.

In 2024, she received a residency with Alphabetti Theatre and produced Pinball, a partially devised short play about ADHD. Her second full-length play Shit Life Crisis was longlisted for the Paines Plough Women’s Prize for Playwriting in 2020 and is about to go on tour with Silent Uproar (us!).

Braids went on to be performed on Radio 4 as part of their Lights Up! festival in March 2021 and had its theatre debut at Live Theatre in Newcastle in October 2021. A film adaptation is currently in development with Public Display of Affection Films.
