Remember when this turd claimed to be a "disaffected leftist" or whatever, and people that wanted to support the right while maintaining a pretense of centrism believed him? Those were also ridiculous times.

Remember when this all started with fear-mongering about dangerous immigrants killing people? They're suddenly not that concerned with deaths.

It's because of the spread out pacing due to weekly. They're trying to stay in the public zeitgeist longer. That said; the feel is very different. S1 was full of very human moments of growth. S2 is more shock and entertainment; with plenty of moments that are cool, but not as deep.

Even the language Tangerine Mussolini uses suggests he still doesn't accept how it works; since we all know it's been explained to him. "This tariff will be due and payable until [they agree]".
He still thinks they pay. Even if he says to his handlers he understands, he still thinks they pay.

Can't remember if it was Paulogia or Captain Dadpool, or both that said the rejection is the real intention. It reinforces the "Us vs Them" narrative they're fed.

I replay it every so often; usually after watching
@miracleofsound.bsky.social video "The Savage Side of Me" about that one back when he was on escapist. Such an awesome song and really feels the spirit of the game.

Morbidly curious who it was. They must've blocked everyone that follows you or something.

Just like all the inexplicable "undecideds" in the last election. They knew damn well what they were voting and were ashamed to say it in public.

They were never sincere about a measured, if misguided, choice. Like all the people who claimed to never trust Fox anyway after their defamation suit. Just like all the inexplicable "undecideds" at this election. They just knew it was embarrassing to admit they still liked Tangerine Doofus.

Played MK1 to death back in the day. Can feel the softness in the hits just watching this.

Look at comments under literally any IGN post on Twitter. Absolute cesspool. The AC Shadows comments were filth.

I was just coming to say something similar. Unsettling but entertaining that their headlines have to go this far.

That is pretty cool watching a real expert draw it that way so it's a nice touch. That said; only the most tedious people think the sword must go in or out in a totally realistic fashion. Just make it look good and believable-ish and no one tolerable will care or probably even notice.

Love em. Sugar with a honey taste, or also chocolate on the side. What's not to love?

When I moved to northern NC I discovered that I knew a whole bunch of co-workers by their middle name, and their own friends and family call them by it, and everyone thinks it's completely normal. I'd never heard of the practice in my life.

Just because there's no evidence that water is dangerous, doesn't mean it's safe.
