accepting those options in the place of any media with depth and attention to detail is telling companies they dont have to try as hard to have the support of queer people, because just a few character creator options will suffice. people of any gender or sexuality are so much more complex than that

while i appreciate detailed character creators and options for pronouns and all that, it just doesnt make up for when the writers sleep on a story. my existence as a queer person is not cosmetic, its not just my pronouns, my body, or the option to say "im trans" in a game.

Big name VPN's absolutely are not keeping you anonymous. Data scrubbers as far as a physical drive or device I can confirm but as far as going online and finding instances of you I can't say.

Death is a part of life. It is HARD, but it's also what makes life so precious to us. It reminds us to say the important things to people while we still can and make sure they know how you feel rather than confessing it to a bot that is only based off of them.

It's so sad how averse we are to processing grief to the point that many will likely buy into this and make a regular subscription payment for this company (I'm assuming) to keep suits of their loved ones on retainer so that when they do unfortunately die they don't have to deal with the loss.

For one, fuck AI, this is horrific to expect a chatbot to wear a loved one's face so you can pretend they are still around.

On the other hand, it may be the only way to tolerate my no-contact MIL (who is very much still alive BTW but a chatbot wearing her face is the only way to make her be nice)
