On another note, I've only visited that part of the States on a handful of occasions, but observing the diversity and beauty of the regional architecture as it spans across time from one period to another remains a most fond reminiscence of mine to this day.

I've never been to a fundraiser. In fact, I'm fairly certain that until I became an adult and met real-life, honest-to-goodness people who were actually important enough to attend fundraisers, I believed they only happened in movies and TV shows and were reserved exclusively for very fancy folks.
