It’s not surprising because religion makes the literal embodiment of evil look like the good guys to credulous people who are then too scared to admit when they realize they’re dead wrong. We’re calling it a constitutional crisis in America, but it’s really a crisis of conscious, imo.

it’s very telling that these people need to describe their fealty in terms of “types of imminent physical injury” they would endure. Did you hear it La Looms? No? ok
