There is free street parking all around. There are no restrooms, but there are public park restrooms at Kilauea Park on 22nd Ave, and at the Kapiolani Community College Farmers Market, each about 5 minutes away (driving).

We can't wait to read with you!

@dosjefes808 will be there, but you can also just bring your own snacks and drinks.

Bring a towel, blanket, or chair. Bring sunscreen if you wish. And bring something to read!

MPORTANT: These graphics are text-heavy, and I can't put this much copy in the caption. For text-only descriptions, an accessible list of everything is at honolulusilentbook.club.

We'll chat a little, take a voluntary group photo, then read for about an hour, and then chat a little more. Socializing is totally optional, of course! Please add your name to our email list (if you're not on it).

We can't wait to read with you! See you there!

Look for her in a shady spot on the Waimanalo side of the park (the left side as you're facing the ocean)!

Bring snacks and drinks if you want. Bring a chair or beach towel and perhaps some sunscreen. Bring your physical books, ebooks, audio books, textbooks, comic books, or whatever!

If the parking is full, maybe wait a few minutes to see if anyone leaves, and if not, the closest neighborhood parking is on Kirkwood, which is a 7- to 10-minute walk from the beach park.

Gina is your host!

Text MItchell at 830-255-7423 if you have questions, if you get lost, if you would like company walking to or from your car (or bus stop), or if you'd like a ride home (I'll probably leave just past 9).

Can't wait to read with you!

@pastaboys.proof will serve their deliciousness to go with great drinks, including some great mocktails.

The vibe is mellow, bookish, super welcoming, and inclusive.

Bring something to read, or find a new fave in the Proof Little Free Library (on the shelf in the cozy corner).

We'll have a book exchange, so bring a few or take a few. We don't have rules.

At around 7:30, we'll call it a night, keep reading, or stick around and chat. Please add your name to our email list if you aren't already on it.

See you there. We can't wait to read with you!

Plan A: Meet at the big round table in front of Whole Foods Market. Say hi, take an optional photo, read for an hour. There are plenty of good food and drink options nearby, but there's no pressure to spend money at all.

We'll have a book exchange, so bring a few or take a few. Whatever!

Don't give up because of a little rain. Did the Little Engine That Could give up? Did Sam I Am give up? Did Holden Caufield give up?

We’re hoping to make this a monthly meetup, and I’m thrilled about this possible new partnership. If the time and day work for you but you can’t make it to this one, please let us know. And if you’d prefer a Saturday afternoon, this is also a possibility—just tell me or Emily.

Meet in the Language, Literature, and History section — the left wing as you enter, straight back.

Librarian Emily is our host!

Say hi. Take an optional group photo. Read for an hour—any kind of book will do! Stay and chat, keep reading, or call it a night!

Text Mitchell at 830-255-7423 if you get lost, if you have questions, if you'd like a ride home, if you'd like company walking to/from your car or bus stop, or if you just need a long joke with a terrible punchline.

There's no program. Show up, chat, read, eat, drink, socialize, keep to yourself: it's all good. Just come read with us!

Dress as a favorite book character, or test-fly Friday night's costume! We'd love to see what you've put together!
