I don't think that they're inherently hateful. I think that they support hateful policies because they have been mislead. There are definitely MAGA folk who are inherently hateful, but mostly, I think that they're either just uneducated or apathetic enough to fall for it.

The working class MAGA has been duped by the elites. They are not skilled enough in critical thinking to see past the lies, but that doesn't mean that they deserve to be demonized. The ultra-wealthy deserve that. Fighting amongst ourselves is how they keep it from being a class war.

It's hard to tell at this point. I mean, 80s US was peak, I think, if you ignore the lead poisoning and leftover racism from pre-Civil Rights Act. Then again, I didn't live it, so I can only imagine. There are probably as many bad things about every decade as there are about this one.

That's how it's been for decades. Most states have one other party, but the last time an independent was on the ballot in all 50 states was Ross Perot in 2000.

The thing though is that there are only two parties that are recognized in all 50 states. It's insane that some states can just choose not to have an independent on the ballot.

Yeah that doesn't surprise me. Cali had the highest prices when I was looking at Gas Buddy's heat map. PNW and Cali have always had a hard time getting oil afaik.

This announcement also makes me think that we are very close to going to war with Venezuela over oil, so corps like Raytheon and Textron may be good investments right now.

Texas has a few gas stations that range between $2.01-2.16 according to Gas Buddy. Gas prices are definitely down from one year ago - not by much, but they are. About 5-10 cents, depending on location.

This extremely confident announcement makes me think that I should invest into oil.
