I remember referring to Rails versioning in a talk as "RailsVer" and not "SemVer" 😂 ... really not sure if there's actually a term for it.
But yeah, for big project (with marketing?), X.0.0 with deprecation warnings for easy upgrade and X.1.0 to remove those warnings makes a lot of sense to me.

Actually, of course, you can just do this by setting your $EDITOR to `true`:
EDITOR=true git rebase --interactive origin/main
EDITOR=true git rebase --interactive origin/main

Yeah. Thankfully it at least hides comments now...
I've been thinking about a tool that would only add status to the commit (in which you can click to view the plan in workflow summary), then use merge queue + deployment approval for plan/apply ... but haven't had time to experiment with it.
