I do think the video aspect of it is important, rather than it just being audio. People are used to seeing broadcasts from home from COVID now. I reckon you’ll see Netflix getting into podcasting in the next 2 years in some form. Likely a select big star/ money signings that bring a large audience.

2/2 YouTube has become the biggest of distribution channels for those who pivoted early. Diary Of A CEO being a good example.

1/2 It’s because YouTube is on TV’s now and is the most watch channel/streamer in the world, even above Netflix. Many people will literally sit and watch them, instead of TV now, or have it on in the background whilst doing housework as you say.
