Today's throwback art is my header image! A fanart of Kamala Khan as Ms Marvel in an earlier comic's iteration of her costume. This was done in watercolor and the original painting was sold as part of a charity auction for CASA SHaW. I have also sold prints of this.

Her costume has a red long-sleeve base with a blue top over it, yellow trim detail, a yellow lightning bolt on the front as homage to the original Carol Danvers Ms Marvel icon, and a long red scarf. It is in a semi-realism portrait style with her eyes shut and her smiling in a serene expression. She is surrounded with four large, yellow daffodils and their green leaves. Her red scarf wraps them close to her body like a frame to pull the picture together, resembling a bouquet.
