Canada has had a gun registry for short guns( pistols) since 1930. Gun crime in Canada as far as prosecution goes is at the discretion of the federal government. To stop most gun crime in Canada, aka violence committed with a restricted weapon, would require stricter border security.

Totally understand. I would love to see a Canadian in the White House! Things could only improve!
