Our analysis of Nordic taxi and food delivery industries conceptualizes four trajectories: Evasion, disruption, adaption and market exit. Given the perception of the Nordic model as protecting workers from poor conditions, the rise gig platforms can appear puzzling. In this new article, @alfonsson.bsky.social, S Rasmussen, J Immonen and I explore the platforms' Nordic trajectories and what this tells us about the Nordic model today.
