I've visited the US war cemetery near Colleville-sur-Mer next to Omaha beach twice (I'm sure the General is familiar with the site). A serene place for reflection and remembrance that got me choked up. We must never dishonor the huge sacrifices allied soldiers made during operation Overlord.

I salute the US, british, canadian, polish and other allies' troops that stormed the Normandy beaches during operation Overlord. We owe them Big Time!
