Finished (except for decals) my first non-Bandai gunpla, the SNAA Tristan. Parts cleanup was a lot more work than with a Bandai kit, and the fit was a little worse. I actually had to use pliers to get some of the inner frame together. Great model for $25, though.

I was looking at the Steam page for Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown and wow, they can't even tell the characters apart. That's obviously Harry Kim, not 7 of 9.

Yeah, from what I understand the stuff in Episode Zero was supposed to be in a flashback episode halfway through, but was cut due to time/budget/messy production. A little of it made it into Endless Waltz, but not much. Definitely recommend checking it out if you can find it somewhere.

It's so solid, yeah. It also feels kinda heavy to me, not just for its size but for the amount of plastic in it, like the plastic it uses seems denser to me? Absolutely the pinnacle of gunpla design and I hope they keep making them to this standard.

Used this to make a Fun vs Compelling alignment chart. The big clump in the top right isn't very precise, but most Gundam falls around there for me.

Wow, the MG Gundam 3.0 is sure complicated, I worked on it for 3 hours and all I have to show for it so far is one foot and one leg.

Removed the clear part from around the ...head? and the mono eye is much more visible like this. Otherwise there was just too much glare.

Finished my birthday gunpla. I love the way it looks, but boy do those noodle-y upper arms and legs make it hard to pose. I painted some of the details on the bottoms of the feet because they just looked like they needed it. I really need to top coat all my kits like this.
