The concrete synecdoche that is the city of New York inspires me to write and to imagine what the world needs from art these days. Our theater company's aspirations to translate our play into English and go to Edinburgh Fringe is on hold as of late because of academic endeavors and network building.

A sign like this makes me think of the staged play, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, that Simone Hjuler Andersen & I produced in Fall 2021. It was set 1000 years from now, in a bunker, and men were extinct. Two enby AFABs tried to make ends meet in the dystopia.
